Entering the bowl at Turn 4, Alan [in green leathers] follows his closest competition, waiting for his chance to pass.

Paul chases another bike out of Turn 4 and up the hill towards Turn 5. Alan and Paul got together later in Turn 2 when Paul tried to get underneath Alan. Neither went down, but Paul lost the fire when he bumped his kill switch in the incident.
